Who are we?
Mitomóvel is a furniture company founded over 30 years ago.
Since the very beginning, we have always been guided by an active and dynamic attitude towards the market needs, looking to develop quality furniture that matches the needs of our customers. This has always been our main focus and this is how we are seeking to continue to act.
We mainly produce for the portuguese market, seeking to strengthen our position in other markets, especially in Africa and the rest of Europe.
Mitomóvel's history is largely related to our ability to adapt to the needs of our market.
This way of thinking and acting is evident in the several catalogs we have been launching, by the way we seek to adapt them – in terms of distribution and offer - to our customers' daily life and to the challenges they face.
For these reasons, it is natural that each catalog tells a little part of our story:
1999 - At the end of the 90s, our collections focused on strong colors like mahogany and on iron applications.
2000 - The introduction of a new varnishing line is in the genesis of the launch of the third catalog
2002 – “Linha Smart”. The millennium has passed through this functional line, focused on the customer’s daily needs.
2003 – “Linha Seven”. A bolder and more urban line, in which all the details count.
2004 - Linha 2004. Pine honey and cherry woods once again stand out as the main colors.
2007 – “Linha Dream Kids”. The first catalog 100% designed for the youngest, where the lighter beech tones predominate, in line with a color portfolio available for the customer's choice, a practice that still remains today.
2008 – The Dream Kids line is reinforced with Dream Home, which aims to complement with a new offer. The beech remains the main color, but the highlight goes to the wenge’s sobriety.
2009 – “The Begin of Dream”. Twenty years after the release of the first catalog, it was time to return to its origins through a catalog that reinvents some of the most classic models with a touch of modernity.
2011 until 2015 – “Loucura total, tudo fabrico nacional”. The years of crisis led us, for the first time, to replace the catalog format and bet on an annual magazine with a primary focus on the end customer, which also included a larger offer of sofas.
2017 – Linha Mitu's - It is the latest creation of Mitomóvel, a catalog that is divided into several lines, aiming to meet the needs of all types of customers.
